The Westin culinary team, led by Executive Chef Keith Gatt, excelled during the Malta Cookery and Culinary Arts Championship held last November by winning 22 medals in total

During the award ceremony, Gordon Amato, junior sous chef was presented with a Gold Award for his art work in Bread Dough. 13 silver medals were also presented to various Westin Chefs for their numerous dish creations as well as three Bronze medals and five Merit Certificates were presented for other exciting dishes. These awards are the result of the strong dedication of the culinary brigade at the Westin who, apart from training hard for these competitions, continue to further improve the culinary creations offered at The Westin Dragonara Resort.

The Westin management is very proud of this achievement and would like to congratulate all the team for their support and dedication throughout their day to day operation and for their strong commitment to the various food and beverage outlets at The Westin Dragonara Resort.

These awards are a clear expression of the capabilities that the Westin culinary brigade has to offer which is reflected in the food offered at The Terrace Restaurant, Quadro Restaurant, Palio’s Restaurant, ORVM Lounge and Piano bar as well as during weddings, conferences and events held at the Resort.
