In keeping with the Christmas spirit, the Agenda Kids Club surprised some 50 children in Mater Dei’s wards with a visit from Mikiel, the Kids Club mascot. Starting from Rainbow Ward, and accompanied by his storyteller, Rita Borg, Mikiel presented each of the children with a Christmas goodie bag. Rita Borg, on behalf of the Kids Club, also read the children a story.

The Agenda Kids Club is designed specifically to help promote literacy through fun initiatives and activities, ensuring that a healthy dose of education is thoroughly mixed up with a good dose of laughter. The Kids Club organises various fun-filled events and story-telling sessions with the objective of making reading a pleasure.

The Agenda Kids Club is fully intent on planning similar events in the future.
