Jubilee Foods, a brand extension of Café Jubilee, recently opened its third shop. The new shop forms part of the Pavi Shopping Complex in Qormi, and is based on the concept of offering people the chance return to genuine Mediterranean and traditional food.
The other two shops, which were opened in the last two months, are located in Ta’ L-Ibragg and in Victoria, Gozo. The opening of this latest shop in Qormi now makes the Jubilee Foods collection accessible across Malta and Gozo.
“The plan is to reach a total of nine Jubilee Foods shops across Malta and Gozo within the next three years to make it easy for aficionados of genuine food to enjoy the entire range of Jubilee artisan foods at home,” said Jubilee Foods director Alex Scicluna.
The new shop, situated on Level One of the Pavi Shopping Complex, stocks the entire range of Jubilee Foods’ pies and savouries, wine, preserves, oils, coffee and desserts. Tasting session will be held every Friday and Saturday during the coming weekends.
The range also includes seasonal specialties, the current highlight being the luxury, homemade mince pies and Christmas logs.
During the festive season, a selection of five gift boxes will be available, with prices ranging from e18.50 to e100. These make a thoughtful and original corporate or personal gift, perfect for those who appreciate genuine, artisan food, and each one of them includes a different selection of foodstuffs to accommodate different budgets, tastes and requirements.
All three Jubilee Foods shops embody the Jubilee Foods ethos of high-quality products and take patrons on a nostalgic journey back to their roots with a shopping experience that has been designed on the same principles as the Café Jubilee patron experience. The selection includes jams, chutneys, syrups, Comino honey, traditional tomato paste, sun-dried tomatoes, peppered cheeslets and hand-picked capers.
Ready to cook items include the famous Nanna’s ravjoli, rice and pumpkin pie, steak and dark ale, and cheeslet and broad bean pies while the selection of desserts includes date sweets, walnut and marmalade tarts and pumpkin cake. There is also a small range of Jubilee wines, Italian olive oils and aromatic coffee sourced from South America.
All Jubilee Foods branded products have been certified and the packaging carries extensive dietary and cooking information.
