With regards to the photo carried on page 2 of TMID, Thursday 24 December, may I further point out that Paola local council committed another mistake in Maltese spelling on that particular sign – which went by unnoticed. One should write “joqoghdu” not “joqghodu”. Anyway, two spelling mistakes in three lines of the Maltese literature! Certainly not a good example in Maltese orthography.
