Governments will always find or, if necessary, create an excuse to go to war if they deem it necessary to do so. The Americans knew well in advance about the planned attack on Pearl Harbour but allowed it to happen so that they would have a valid excuse to enter the war.
By the same token the Falklands war need not have happened as the British Government was told by American Intelligence sources about the planned invasion months before it happened. All that was required was a diversion of British ships to the area to send a clear message to Argentina. However Maggie Thatcher was staring defeat in the face at the next election and needed something to boost her popularity, and nothing works quite so well as a nice war.
As you say Ryan Kelly wrote in the letters section this week, the Iraq war had nothing to do with weapons of mass destruction and everything to do with oil. As for the attacks on America on 11 September 2001, the truth will hopefully emerge someday. In the meantime I feel that putting the blame on al-Qaeda or giving them the credit, whichever way you look at it, is not fully justified. In the entire history of the world, fire has only brought down a steel and concrete structure on one occasion: 9/11.
Take the time to study the videos available on the internet of that day. In particular, look at the collapse of WTC Tower 7 which was not hit by a plane and yet collapsed into its own footprint within seven seconds. This has been proven to be impossible without the use of explosives. Besides, traces of a military form of Thermite were found at all the fallen towers.
Take a look at the Pentagon video which shows the moment the Boeing struck, except that it’s nothing like a Boeing but looks suspiciously like a cruise missile or military drone aircraft. Where is the aircraft wreckage at the Pentagon site? Where are the seats, the luggage, the Boeing parts, the bodies? There are none.
What about the aircraft that crashed into the field? How come that same aircraft was spotted weeks later by an airline pilot in the corner of a remote airfield? But why would the American Government be involved in what looks like a false flag operation? Two words: Homeland Security. Without 9/11 the American government had zero chance of getting the Homeland Security Act passed. American actor Charlie Sheen has joined thousands of others in demanding that President Obama re-opens the investigation into the events of 9/11.
