I write with reference to the article appearing in your paper on Friday 8 January regarding Carnival.
Paul Curmi is making use of St Mary Magdeline’s Church in Valletta until Carnival this year after which he will move to new premises. Suitable premises to accommodate Mr Curmi’s operation have been found long before the publication of the above mentioned article, with the intervention of the Parliamentary Secretariat of Revenues and Land after a process of consultation with Mr Curmi himself.
The Government is duty-bound to return the mentioned Valletta Chapel to the Ecclesiastical Authorities, according to the Malta-Holy See treaty of 1992.
