I thank John Ebejer for his letter, “Mepa’s Audit Office – What’s next” (TMIS, 3 January) in which he publicly confirmed that prior to the current exercise of Mepa Audit Officer bashing, an attempt was made to convince Mr Joe Falzon to mend his ways!

Thank you Mr Ebejer. This is surely of interest to those who wish to understand what Mepa was up to. In addition it clarifies which fingers were on the remote control.
