Bank of Valletta has announced the latest series of informative sessions being held as part of the bank’s Investor Education Programme, a series of seminars aimed at informing the general public about various subjects in the sphere of banking and finance.
Representatives from Bank of Valletta’s Financial Markets, Wealth Management, Bancassurance and Business Development will tackle topics of popular interest such as bonds and shares, interest rates and their effect on deposits, the importance of retirement planning and the Maltese economy within the current economic scenario. Mr Geoffrey Bezzina from the Malta Financial Services Authority will also participate and will be tackling the issue of complaints in relation to financial services.
The first two of four programmes will be held at the Corinthia Palace Hotel in Attard and the Victoria Hotel in Sliema, starting on 23 and 25 February respectively. The seminars begin at 6.30pm and will last for two hours. Attendance is free of charge and a certificate of attendance will be awarded to those who attend all sessions.
