‘Simpatici’ Is back on stage

The Simpatici gang is back and as part of Hermann Bonaci’s 10th anniversary events, a new story will be presented at the Catholic Institute on Saturday and Sunday 27 and 28 February and on Saturday and Sunday 6 and 7 March (at 10am and 5pm). The original cast of the popular TV series that was launched in 1999 will again be taking part: Hermann Bonaci (Joe), Frida Cauchi (Dora), John Suda (Salvu), Mary Rose Bonello (Katrin), Kurt Castillo (Jason), Maryrose Mallia (Lieni), Joe Gatt (Charlie), Brian Farrugia (L-ispettur Leonard), Fabian Scerri De Carlo (Kappillan), Rachel Micallef (Ruth), Kevin Spiteri (Walter), Ray Abdilla (Alan), Simon Curmi (Gianni, il-Purtinar), Ronnie Galea (Is-Sur Tonna), Doreen Cini (Joyce), Antoinette Bonaci (Marija), Stephanie Bonaci (Chantelle), Amy Callus (Mrs Axiaq), Manwel Cachia (Manwel), Maria Bonaci (Mariah), Jake Darmanin (Karl) and Adriana De Carlo (Denise). The play is scripted by John Suda and directed by Ray Abdilla.

Joe and Dora decide its time to take a break and they decide to go to Gozo for the weekend. They book a hotel and are determined to forget all the problems. All they want is to spend a few days in peace. But what happens is just the opposite as it seems that it’s not only Joe and Dora who came up with the same idea.
