GlobalCapital has reported a highly successful recent recruitment day at the Corinthia San Gorg.

Over 100 potential candidates seeking to join the GlobalCapital sales team attended the event. GlobalCapital Director James Blake delivered an introductory talk while Sales Career Training and Development Manager Mark Pritchard and Branch Manager Joe Camilleri delivered the company’s induction programme for prospective candidates and underlined the importance that GlobalCapital attributes to career progression through staff training and mentoring.

Following the introductory talks, one-to-one interviews were carried out where each candidate was interviewed by one of GlobalCapital’s managers. Candidates were primarily assessed on their communication skills, personality and willingness to embark on a sales career.

Refreshments were served throughout the day and a competition was organised that encouraged interaction amongst those present, while also giving GlobalCapital staff the opportunity to get to know the candidates better. All attendees received a gift as a memento of the day and the winner of the competition won a digital camera.

“Through these recruitment days we are able to meet all potential employees on a more personal level without the tension associated with a formal interview. We believe that prospective candidates can feel more at ease and able to better display their personality and aspirations without feeling self-conscious,” said Mr Blake.
