Fondazzjoni Patrimonju Malti is once again putting on a lavish exhibition, the subject of which will be the paintings of Edward Caruana Dingli (1876–1950). Caruana Dingli is one of Malta’s foremost artists and is particularly renowned for his portraits and paintings of folkloristic scenes. His folkloric scenes depict customs and events in early 20th century Malta while his portraits range from intimate family portraits to official portraits of royal subjects, all executed with his characteristic brush strokes and vivid colour.

Fondazzjoni Patrimonju Malti is a non-profit making organisation whose aim is to raise awareness on the island’s extensive heritage locally and internationally, through museums, exhibitions and publications. It has already organised a number of exhibitions on a lavish scale and has restored and now manages Palazzo Falson Historic House Museum.

In the run-up to the Edward Caruana Dingli exhibition, Fondazzjoni Patrimonju Malti is making a call for volunteers to help out during the exhibition. If you love art, enjoy meeting people, and are able to commit some hours per week from mid-March till the end of April we would welcome your application.
