There was an excellent response to Dhalia Real Estate’s Luxury Living and the Fort Cambridge project, following their participation in two seminars and an international property fair entitled Living Abroad, held in Stockholm between 13 and 14 February. The Stockholm property fair, which was held at the Globen Arena, is one of the most prestigious and largest property fairs in Scandinavia and this year was attended by over 4,000 visitors.
Prior to the property fair, Dhalia Real Estate hosted two half-day seminars on 11 February at the Hotel Anglaise in Stockholm. The seminars were addressed by Malta’s Counsellor and Chargé d’Affaires in Denmark, Deborah Attard Montaldo, Director of GAP Developments Paul Attard, Maltese tax consultant John Huber from John Huber and Associates and Inger Soderlund of Maltamaklarna, Dhalia’s business partner in Sweden.
The seminars were attended by over 150 delegates, ranging from bankers, fund managers, tax consultants and lawyers to a number of high network clients including CEOs representing large Scandinavian corporations. Both seminars were aimed at explaining the local tax regime and regulations when buying property in Malta, as well as information on retirement and holidaying
in Malta.
In his address, Mr Attard gave a profile of GAP Developments, with an emphasis on their latest project, Fort Cambridge, a 341 freehold residential project situated in Tigné, Sliema. Mr Attard said that, situated in a special designated area, Fort Cambridge boasts magnificent sea and land views all around, together with views of the baroque city of Valletta. This makes it a unique destination and an excellent investment opportunity.
Speaking about the property fair, Dhalia’s Luxury Living manager Michael Mifsud said: “The response received from previous visits to Stockholm has encouraged us to return and promote Maltese properties in this very interesting market. In fact, our investment in this market is creating various opportunities and a number of visitors at this year’s fair came specifically to enquire about Malta. A few of these visitors have already confirmed their visit to Malta next month.”
Dhalia Real Estate is fast becoming Malta’s agency of choice for most foreign investors seeking to take up residence in Malta. The international property fair was also an opportunity for Dhalia to open a window on the vast opportunities emerging in Malta.
