Kellogg’s Generates breakfast awareness among schoolchildren

Malta Independent Sunday, 28 February 2010, 00:00 Last update: about 18 years ago

Kellogg’s hostesses distributed Coco Pops portion packs to around 600 schoolchildren who attended Friday’s rehearsal of the Malta EuroSong Festival 2010 at the Malta Fairs and Convention Centre, as part of the company’s ongoing commitment to increase the consumption of breakfast cereals.

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and a cereal breakfast provides a head start, as far as daily vitamin and mineral needs are concerned. Many adults and children are skipping breakfast, making them more likely to indulge in calorie-dense

products later in the day, and more likely to be obese.

Kellogg’s is the world’s leading producer of cereals and offers a wide range of cereals to help children and adult alike choose what is right for them.
