The national Under 21 squad left Malta for Belgium yesterday to start final preparations for the Group 8 qualifier in connection with the Euro Under 21 championship 2009-2011.

National coach Edwin Camilleri and his assistant Emanuel Farrugia have selected the following 18 players to make the trip:

Henry Bonello (Vittoriosa S.), Steve Sultana (Nadur Y.), Steve Bonnici (Melita FC), Adrian Borg (Mosta FC), Steve Borg (Valletta FC), Richard Chetcuti (Warrington FC), Miguel Ciantar (Msida SJ), Tyrone Farrugia (Msida SJ), George Gribbon (Melita FC), John Mintoff (Sliema W.), Beppe Muscat (Vittoriosa S.), Rowen Muscat (Birkirkara FC), Duncan Pisani (Qormi FC), Quelin Refalo (Pieta H.), Jonathan Scerri (Vittoriosa FC), Luke Schembri (St Patrick FC), Clive Spiteri (Pieta H.), Terence Vella (Mosta FC).
