A lucky Melita Mobile subscriber was elated to win the elegant HTC Diamond mobile phone after taking part in a competition commemorating Melita’s first year of operation in mobile communications.

Melita Mobile has just introduced new Unlimited Pay Monthly Plans – M, L and XL costing €12, €15 and €25 a month respectively. Customers subscribed to one of these plans can make unlimited calls to all Melita Mobile and Melita fixed-line numbers and unlimited calls to a selection of 2, 3 or 5 numbers on other networks. They also get a generous amount of free SMS and a free 3G mobile phone depending on their usage.

Participants were asked to send answers via SMS during Melita Mobile’s anniversary week explaining which mobile phone feature they use most and why.

The winning SMS by Eric Abdilla read: “I mainly use the telephone calls because the Melita Mobile calls are very cheap compared to the other networks providing me with an excellent service.”
