Positive results for Malta 1 & Malta 2 teams in the Men’s European Team Championship when they beat Scotland 2 10-2 and Ukraine 10-6 respectively.

In the Masters Championship, Iceland beat Malta 1 4-3 while Malta 2 beat Romania 4-0.

The Under 19 championship had some less encouraging results as in:

Group A: Matthew Calleja lost to both Sascha Breuer (3-0) and Eden Sharav (3-1).

Group C: Chris Peplow lost both matches 3-0 against Anthony McGill and Alexis Callewaert..

Group D: Two losses for Wayne Pace to Tom Maxfield (3-0) and Ross Higgins (3-1).

Group E: Shaun Sultana lost against Michal Zielinski 3-1.

Group F: Aaron Busuttil beat Christopher Griesdorn 3-1 but than lost to Campbell Dunlop also 3-1.
