Traffic chaos... The opening of the new state-of-the-art shopping mall in Tigné has dramatically increased the traffic in Sliema making it almost impossible to access it. Finding your way between the heavy trucks, obstructing cranes, road blocks and cars makes you wish to be beamed through that area.

As Alternattiva Demokratika kept on hammering over the years, traffic generated by these newly built constructions would put traffic in Sliema to a standstill, drown the local population in car fumes and discourage people to visit it. And this is not the end of it, more towers and shops are waiting to be finished or be built.
