Instead of people queuing up for the medicine of their choice and, horror of horrors, finding out it is out of stock after hours of waiting in the pharmacy at Mater Dei Hospital, wouldn’t it be an ingenious idea to have a board put up displaying all the medicinal items that are unavailable written in bold letters? Knowing the medicine is unavailable will spare them useless long waiting. Then again, could it be that that is too much evidence of medicine out of stock that would give the minister of health a bad name?
