At last, the bus terminus around the Triton Fountain and outside City Gate will be no more. What I cannot understand is that most European countries with which we are affiliated do not have any bus termini or bus stations outside or around their cities, except for boarding and alighting stops/shelters and the vehicles are never stationed in the vicinity.

Was this possibility ever looked into and if not why? If it works everywhere else why not in Malta?
