The new high definition experience is set to transform channels into a colourful, rich and more lifelike experience.

With a mix of content that ranges from adrenaline-driven sport to music, concerts, nature, documentaries and lifestyle, Melita’s HD launch offering covers all the leading channels reaching a wide audience. For music lovers, both iConcerts HD and MTVN HD are undoubtedly pullers, with the latter covering events like the local Isle of MTV concert.

The Discovery portfolio of channels, which was already recently expanded to include Investigation Discovery, is also highly popular with Maltese subscribers and is set to receive another boost with Discovery HD Showcase. Melita’s high definition television service will be launched right in time for the 2010 FIFA World Cup matches, with all World Cup matches being broadcast in HD on a dedicated channel which will be part of the XL package and with every single action on the ground literally springing to life.
