During the swimming time trials held at the National Pool, Tal-Qroqq, young Neptunes swimmer Amy Micallef broke two Age Group B records.

She first clocked 30.05 in the 50m freestyle and erased the previous record of 30.15 held by Talisa Pace since 2005 and then broke the 50m butterfly record in a time of 33.89 to erase the previous record of 34.86 held by Kim Attard since 2004.

The next international commitment for the Maltese young swimmers is participation in the FISEC Games being held in Tours, France, between 5 and 11 July.
