I endorse all that J. Falzon said in regard to the abuse of footpaths.
I will be 90 years old next month. I have an 87-year-old wife who is housebound, so I have to do the shopping and take a bus to the supermarket with a shopping trolley.
On the Zabbar road the other day, I had to walk past two garages with a loaded trolley, but one had two cars blocking the pavement and the other had the forecourt right down to the main road that had the petrol pipe in a car. I had to step into a busy road to get round them.
The other day I received a newsletter about the sixth year of the EU. I wrote and told them of these shortcomings we have to put up with. The silence was deafening.
