I refer to your report ‘Malta’s tax revenue lower than EU average’ which was published on 31 May. I do not agree with this. I am an ex British service man being entitled to a service pension for the number of years I have served. I have always paid my national insurance contributions to the full and when I reached retiring age, the department of ‘social injustice’ deducted part of my national insurance pension because of my service pension. I am being deprived from a benefit which I have contributed for, so this is another form of tax and it happens only in Malta. Thank You.
