Thank you for your faithful report of Tuesday’s parliamentary sitting on MEPA vis-a-vis spatial planning.

Kindly allow me to point out that when I mentioned those countries that have adopted spatial planning as the EU’s best practice, I had in mind most of the leading EU Member States, the foremost of which are the Netherlands and even emerging states like Kosovo who might be still knocking on the EU’s door.

As it was presented, the report could have implied that we are merely trying to emulate Kosovo and similar emerging states.
