Your article ‘We may not see beggars in the streets... yet’ (TMID 8 June) makes me wonder. Who is the most common, poor people or sharks?

Sharks are all those people who are abusing the system such as people who are declared unfit for work and retire on an early pension, single mothers, where fathers are unknown, separated wives claiming relief benefits, those avoiding income tax, and VAT tax. It goes on and on. Were is Victor Grech to educate these people and tell them that they are committing a sin like those who cohabitate?
