The campaign was launched back in April and saw hundreds of applicants submitting their life-long dream on www.myimpossibledream.info. Five finalists were shortlisted and announced to the general public on 20 June 2010, following which viewers were asked to vote for their favourite applicant either by web or via SMS.
The other four finalists included: 2nd place: Alison Vassallo whose dream was to watch her favourite team: Manchester United at Old Trafford, 3rd place: Wayne Pace who wanted to attend a professional wrestling school, 4th place: Jonathan Farrugia whose wish was to visit a Film Studio in the United States and 5th place Charles Bartolo who wanted to go on a 14-day Land Rover Adventure Tour.
Moreover, another contestant, Marisa Schembri whose life-long dream was to meet Rod Stewart in person, was given the surprise of her life last Sunday when she was told that she is due to meet Rod Stewart backstage on 3 August during his visit to Malta, thanks to Coca-Cola Zero and Hadd Ghalik.
