Reference is made to Josanne Cassar’s article on the film Agora (TMIS, 18 July) wherein it was stated that the producers denied that the film had not been offered to KRS, a statement they describe as shocking and complete misinformation.

As managing director of KRS Film Distributors, I categorically deny that there has been any contact by the producers of Agora with KRS regarding the distribution and exhibition of the film in local cinemas.

Any negotiations by the producers were definitely not held with KRS Film Distributors.
