It was all smiles and cheers for Roberta Bugeja and Maverick Formosa when MTV Mobile announced them as the winners of its newest competition. Each of the two winners landed a trip to attend the outstanding top-notch Enter Summer Music Festival in the idyllic setting of Bacvice Beach in Split, Croatia with flight tickets and accommodation for two persons as well as two admission tickets each to the exclusive music event.
The competition, targeted to mark the first year of MTV Mobile operation in absolute style, was organised in collaboration with 89.7 Bay and heavily promoted during Bay Radio’s hugely popular Nathan and Talitha Drive Time Show. The initiative attracted hundreds of young people all eager to participate in the hope of laying their hands on the fun trip to Croatia with its stunning Adriatic coastline and amazing natural beauty – the perfect setting for Enter Summer Music Festival 2010 hosted by MTV Croatia.
The competition was open to new customers who switched to MTV Mobile and to existing customers who topped up their account. Meanwhile, Air Malta joined forces with MTV Mobile and sponsored airline tickets for the winners.
The massive urban music and culture festival, Enter, kicked off on 6 August running for two days. The venue for the annual summer event was Split – the enticing city in the heart of Dalmatia, Croatia while the Enter party takes place precisely on the city’s scenic Bacvice beach with live performances being held simultaneously on two stages.
Speaking about the competition during a presentation held at the Bay Radio studios, Davinia Shead from the MTV Mobile communications team said: “We are enormously pleased with the large response we had to the competition – further proof that MTV Mobile Malta has become a great success with young people.”
