Do you think it is ok for foreign students to go skinny dipping in the early hours and then be rude to the Maltese police? We have these students in the area I live in. They are a pain in the neck.

They walk around in large groups, spread across pavements. You say “ excuse me,” and you are ignored, so you walk off the pavement to pass them and run the risk of getting run over.

I would like to know where the so-called staff who should be looking after them are; a few weeks ago a girl was killed jumping from one balcony to the other in a hotel. Just across from where I live. Once more I ask, where are the people who are supposed to be in charge of them?

They would not be allowed to do it in their own country. So why should the people of Malta have to put up with their unruly behaviour?

We now have a large wall that has been covered by spray-can-painted graffiti; they should be made to scrub it off. It says, “we love Malta,” but pity they don’t respect it. Mind you, you have to find the ones who did it first.

Then they go around beating Maltese youths and get a suspended sentence. The mind boggles. Send them back to where they come from. Malta can do without them. They are taking up court time and free legal aid to boot.

Oh, and another complaint… they throw their rubbish all over the place, such as on the steps leading down to St Paul’s Bay, even though there is a rubbish bin at the top of the steps. You could never believe these steps were cleaned and painted two weeks ago.
