This is one of the most appalling stories that I have read today. Every single quote from the Curia was snide and contemptuous.

I refuse to believe that the people of Malta condone this treatment of their children. I refuse to believe that any parent would put their child in the hands of a person who says today that he would not have an impulse to call the police if his child was raped.

That is just really sick. The Maltese Curia is frightening. Thanks for reporting this.
