Marsascala ended their season on a top note, getting the double, and also beating Ta’ Xbiex three times from four encounters.

Up till the interval Marco Manara’s side were still in the match, and troubling M’scala no end, just a goal behind. They even drew level, soon after the start of the third session, but then they were dominated by their adversaries, and a four goal run had M’scala on velvet.

Ta’ Xbiex were a distance behind to make any impact in the remainder of the match, and M’scala could control with a certain ease, and run out winners.

As usual they relied on their strong centre, Milos Koralji, who grabbed a poker of goals. Ta’ Xbiex had Dave Gabriel with a hat trick.

M’scala were presented with their winners’ medals by the BOV Marketing Manager, Charles Azzopardi, and their captain, Joe Cremona, could take home, along with the rest of the squad, the victory trophy.
