Third Division side Gudja United continued to strengthen their squad in their bid to challenge for promotion in the coming season, with the signing of 19-year old Daniel Bonnici from Hamrun Spartans on loan for the coming season.

Having played for Gudja United last season after arriving in January, Bonnici agreed to further his experience with his hometown club for the coming season. After confirming Leslie Burke as coach, Gudja have also secured the services of midfield players Aaron Guazzo and Omar Grech and striker Trevor Thomas.
