Over 100 swimmers took part throughout the two rounds of gala races and fun games last Saturday under our new head coach, and Malta’s open swim champion Davina Mangion.

The events were kick-board freestyle kicking (for the U-8’s only), freestyle, backstroke, and we ended with some fun relays.

The aim of the swimming school is to increase participation and to add to our swimming base, as well as improve upon strokes and technique. It is the ambition of our head coach to take the level of the school one step further and compete regularly at national level.

The swimmers showed dedication and commitment during this summer. The parents supported and provided transport to the lessons.

The club is now looking forward to the winter lessons. Several different packages of lessons are available to choose from for the winter term.
