The Royal Malta Yacht Club sailing season continues this weekend with the Bank of Valletta Autumn Series. A favourable weather forecast is expected over the weekend and a very competitive fleet expecting to participate in this regatta. Racing will consist of windward leeward racing in the waters opposite the Preluna Hotel.

This series is one of the last remaining races prior to the start of the Rolex Middle Sea Race and many owners use this event to finalise crew positions on board their boats and to brush up on their sailing and trimming. One expects to see Jonathan Gambin on board “TonTon Surfside” to set his mark on yet another regatta whilst he should expect some very close competition from “Commanche Raider GasanMamo”, Moondance and Tango 34 with Anthony Camilleri on board.l be held on Sunday evening at the RMYC Clubhouse in Ta’Xbiex.
