Ton Ton skippered by Jonathan Gambin was the overall winner of the BOV Regatta organised by the Royal Malta Yacht Club during September 2010.
The BOV Regatta featured six “round the cans” races between Tigne Point and Dragonara Casino over the weekend of the 18th and 19th September 2010. Ton Ton with Jonathan Gambin at the helm took the lead in the Racer Class Division A on Saturday and held on throughout the weekend. BOV Plain Sailing, skippered by Anthony Camilleri was first in the Racer Class Division B while Inspiration won in the small cruiser division.
Charles Azzopardi, Manager Marketing at Bank of Valletta presented the trophies to the winners of all races in the presence of Royal Malta Yacht Club Commodore George Bonello DuPuis and race director Peter Dimech. Bank of Valletta is a strong supporter of sporting events on the Maltese Islands and is looking forward to strengthening its ties with the Royal Malta Yacht Club.
