The Malta Football Association postponed yesterday’s two scheduled Premier League fixtures at Ta’ Qali.

According to a statement issued by the association’s PR department, the postponement came about because of the condition of the pitch after the heavy morning rainfall.

The matches are now being played tomorrow at the Victor Tedesco Stadium, as follows: 6pm Vittoriosa S.-Sliema W.; 8pm Qormi-Tarxien R.

Not only football was affected by the weather.

The Malta Baseball & Softball Assocation (MABS) also postponed The Malta Baseball Festival which had to take place today at the Marsa grounds. The festival has now been rescheduled for next Sunday, 24 October from 11am till 4pm at the Marsa Sports Ground.
