Last Saturday morning, when the clouds were piling up all over Malta and Gozo, a workman was seen watering the plants that had been planted on previous days on the Regional Road centre strips. He seemed to be the only one oblivious to the heavy skies and to the weather forecast which was predicting heavy showers and thunderstorms.
In fact, as soon as the man finished his job, the first raindrops were felt and soon it was pouring down.
Can’t we be more logical in what we do? So much water was wasted to water the plants when, a few minutes later, the rain did the same job.
