Qormi FC have officially presented their new striker this season, Abu Baker, a Nigerian 22-year-old.

The Yellow Blacks have signed this player from Brazilian club Vasco da Gama. There he had also lined up alongside some famous players, among them Pato, now on the books of Milan.

Since playing in Malta’s Premier League, he has already been selected as BoV player of the match twice.

It was mainly through the sponsorship of Express Trailers Ltd – for the third consecutive time – that the player could be brought over to Malta.

Abu Baker said that he is very happy to be playing in Malta with Qormi. He thanked the brothers Vella, directors of Express Trailers Ltd as well as Emm. Vella & Sons and Eyre Travel and Cargo Services, for their continued support to the club.
