To celebrate it 15th anniversary, the Dance Council Malta is proud to host Dance Power 4 – Embracing dance. This exceptional event is a testimony to the Dance Council’s beliefs that through unity, dance is able to develop, enrich itself and move on with the changing times. This grand performance is a firm indication of all this. A varied programme of different pedagogies in the world of dance is being presented ranging from the pure classical style, to hip hop and folklore. The Dance Council Malta welcomes special guests from the Royal Danish Ballet School, The Hungarian Dance Academy and the Turkish State Conservatoire, fourteen local dance schools and three dance companies, over 350 students will be participating in this grand event.

Through this performance another four scholarships are being given for three lucky students and a teacher for 2011 summer courses. Workshops are being given on Sunday 31 October at Central Academy for three groups of students from grade 6 intermediate, advanced foundation and advanced 1 and 2 students.

These will be chosen by the foreign teachers, Ms Miklos Borsa, Ms Heidi Ryom and Ms Evelyn Tuncsav.
