Many readers have voiced their complaints about water and electricity bills (Arms Ltd) but none has observed the fact that the company has been taking all consumers for a ride: the fact that the estimated consumption done by Arms Ltd, is not being considered in the actual reading bill.

A new meter was installed in my premises two years ago and the water and electricity department used to send estimated bills, though I pointed out that they should make an actual reading. When finally they made a reading, it resulted that I paid for an extra 4000 units. I wrote several times to make my point but they absolutely ignored my pleas; so I eventually wrote to the Prime Minister’s office, which made a slight impact.

On receiving the next bill, I again explained in detail but all was ignored, although I paid for all estimated bills.

So beware of the farcical estimates that Arms Ltd are billing.
