Last November students of Seishinkan Aikido Academy were once again honoured by Hidenori Kanazawa Sensei 5th Dan who visited to Malta to conduct an intensive training seminar together with Raymond Cutajar Sensei who is the founder of this Academy.

Seishinkan Aikido Academy is affiliated with Malta Judo Federation and Associated Arts and the International Renshinkai Aikido Federation of Japan.

This seminar was in preparation for the grand seminar which is being held in Malta next month.

Seishinkan Aikido Academy has invited three great Masters in the art of Aikido from Japan: Kiochi Inoue Sensei (10th Dan), Tsutomi Chida Sensei (8th Dan) and Saburo Takashima Sensei (6th Dan) to conduct this international seminar.

They are all well known and considerably famous in the world of Aikido. In response to our invitation, students from all over the world will be coming over to Malta in order to take part in this unique event which is the first of its kind to be held in Malta.

During the seminar five Black Belts, namely Neville Paris, Joe Rivans, Carmel Attard, Paul Cassar and Godwin Aguis will be tested for their 2nd Dan grades by the grandmasters themselves. Also, two young ladies, Chloe Borg and Tiziana Debono from Seishinkan Aikido Academy will be examined for their 1st Dan Black Belt. These two young ladies will be the first women Aikido Black belts in Malta.

A demonstration of this magnificent art by Kiochi Inoue Sensei (10th Dan), Tsutomi Chida Sensei (8th Dan) and Saburo Takashima Sensei (6th Dan) along with Ray Cutajar Sensei (3rd Dan) and Seishinkan students will be held at the Mediterranean Conference Centre (La Vallette Hall) in Valletta on 23 November at 7.30pm. Members of various local Martial Arts disciplines have also been invited to take part in this unique demonstration.
