The first games of the Malta Netball Association local league have been played.

They were three games which gave a taste of what should be a well fought competition in this sports discipline having the largest amount of female participation.

Fuego’s opener followed last year’s success by beating Strikers 41-29.

In the second game from the top division NRG A succumbed at the final stages when All Ages Eurochange showed some top class netball, ending the game 33-21.

In the last game from the second division, MIA Netball started their local league experience with a loss when Stars beat them 16-47.
