Sliema’s Jackson Lima was the only Premier League player suspended by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner yesterday.

He is suspended for the club’s next match against Floriana on 21 November.

First Division players Anthony Saliba of Lija Athletic and Ronnie Hartvig of St Andrews received a one-match ban.

Also suspended for one match were three Third Division players – Jonathan Galea of Qrendi and Swieqi’s Matthew Spiteri and Ryan Mercieca.

Gzira United stretcher bearer Jonathan Bondin was suspended for four matches and handed a €30 fine.
