On Friday, November 5, 2010 a delegation of Roma Club Malta travelled to Trigoria to present goalkeeper Julio Sergio with the local supporters branch’s annual award for the most determined footballer of the past season.

Club president Ray Sant said that the members of the delegation, who arrived on the Thursday before the Roma-Lazio derby, went there to reward Julio Sergio. Last year, Sant said, members of this supporters club were also on a similar visit. Montenegro striker Mirko Vucinic was the recipient of the award that time.

Finally, the Maltese delegation, apart from presenting the Brazilian keeper with this well deserved award, also invited the delighted Julio Sergio for a dream summer holiday in Malta.
