A 5km marathon was held around Mosta as a fundraising activity in aid of the Mosta Church Parvis Rebuilding Fund.

Quite a good number of people took part. First to start were those who chose to walk the distance. Among these were the Mosta archpriest Fr Mario Tong, MP Tony Decelis, and councillors Josette Decelis, Marthese Mifsud and Shirley Farrugia.

Half an hour later a group of runners who are boxers as well as members of the I.J. fitness team joined them.

All participants were given t-shirts as souvenirs.
