Young Stars came out firing on all cylinders and went ahead in the ninth minute, when Mark Camilleri scored as a result of a short corner action.
Following further pressure from Young Stars, White Hart reacted strongly and, after forcing three short corners, they equalized through Mark Zahra in the 25th minute.
They went further ahead in the 31st minute when David Agius scored from close range after good work down the right flank.
After the interval both sides spurned chances with Young Stars not availing themselves of four short corner opportunities.
From yet another short corner action Ivan Magro Dingli equalised with a crisp finish.
Both teams searched for the winner but in the end settled fro sharing the spoils.

An exciting game which seemed to be in Rabat’s grasp but Hotsticks had other ideas and hit back to draw level twice and end the match in a draw.
Rabat raced to a two nil lead in the third and seventh minutes thanks to two goals scored by Shaun Falzon from short corner actions.
Although under pressure from other short corners, Hotsticks pulled one back in the 23rd minute through Steve Portelli.
Hotsticks drew level for the first time in the 46th minute when Michael Bugeja scored from a short corner action.
This stung Rabat into action and they went ahead almost immediately in the 48th minute when Kevin Micallef netted from yet another short corner. Incredibly two minutes later Steve Portelli scored to bring Hotsticks level again.
Both sides had chances to add to their tally but the game ended in a very interesting high scoring draw.
