Baek Seuk-hyun of South Korea and Simon Griffiths of England share the halfway lead at the Indian Open at the Delhi Golf Club.

Baek shot a 2-under 70 yesterday, while Griffiths fired a 5-under 67 to climb up the leaderboard from his overnight position of joint 21st.

The American pair of Anthony Kang and Ben Fox, Rikard Karlberg of Sweden and little-known Indian Manav Jaini all finished a stroke behind.

Overnight leader Kim Hyung-sung slipped to joint 11th place after shooting a 2-over 74 for 141, while former champions Arjun Atwal with a 142 and Jyoti Randhawa on 143, both from India, were in joint 18th and 21st place.

Baek, 20, has three victories on the domestic Thai tour. His round included four birdies and two bogeys.

"It's my first time leading a big tournament," he said." I dream of winning a big tournament every day and this time, it's a chance for me and I hope to take it."
