Local international basketball referee Bernard Vassallo will be again in action in the European sphere this week when he will officiate another game in Spain just two weeks after officiating respective games in Valencia and Zaragoza.

Vassallo will be the referee in the FIBA Euroleague Group B match to be played in the Polideportivo Cerro Del Telégrafo in Madrid, today, between hosts Rivas Madrid and the Hungarian champions MKB Sopron. Sopron are presently third in the group with 10 points followed by Madrid with eight. Fenerbahce are leading this six-team group with 12 points after six matches.

The refereeing crew for this encounter, apart from Vassallo, will consist of Pedro Coelho (Portugal) and Davd Musard (Switzerland).
