Sliema Wanderers will be without the services of their two defenders Clifford Gatt Baldacchino and Julian Briffa when they play Marsaxlokk in their BOV Premier League next Sunday.

Both were handed a one-match ban by the MFA Disciplinary Commission after collecting four yellow cards.

Sliema’s president Steve Abela has also been suspended for two matches.

Other players suspended one match for this weekend were Orosco Anonam (Tarxien R), Joseph Zerafa (Birkirkara), Jonathan Bondin (Qormi) and Richard Hart (Hibernians).
