The Malta Weightlifting team have just returned from London after taking part in a training camp.

The team attended this training camp a week later than planned after the competition had to be cancelled due to the bad weather that the UK endured recently.

The lifters attending the camp were Noel Coleiro, Emanuel Camilleri, Stephen Borg and Cleaven Cutajar. They received coaching from Coach Keith Morgan and trained with a selection of other lifters from the UK.

Maltese coaches also attended this course and committed themselves to better the level of weightlifting in Malta. These coaches also managed to promote next year’s competition which is to be held in Malta and most club leaders seemed keen to attend.
